The Euclidian: Alien Hitman by Jay Cannon
When ruthless alien outlaws escape a ship's prison and head to Earth, an alien assassin is sent to kill or retrieve them before innocent humans are killed...
Alien Hitman is a prequel to a highly rated first contact series by Jay Cannon (JC). It draws you in quick with interstellar action, and doesn’t let go until the last page. The book opens on a Euclidian mining ship. Its multi-year mission: to exploit distant planets and return minerals to the home system. Next stop: Earth. But first, they pick up a load of prisoners, and here things go off the rails a bit. Some of the detainees escape. A security officer, who is particularly skilled in fighting, tracks them to Earth where the action continues. If you enjoy first contact novels, be sure and check this one out, then take a look at the rest of the series!
Jay Cannon (JC) grew up in the projects of Muskegon Heights, Michigan. Right out of high school he joined the U.S. Navy for six years, where he spent most of his career working on communications, computer and navigation gear for A6 attack planes on the flight deck of aircraft carriers. Being on aircraft carriers gave him the feeling of being aboard a starship.
After leaving the Navy, JC spent 30 years as a computer programmer, including 16 years at Microsoft.
Throughout JC’s technical career, he passed time reading science fiction books and watching science fiction movies. He eventually decided to stop writing computer programs, join the James River Writers, and start writing science fiction.
JC has several years experience in self-publishing and was recently selected as a DartFrog book of distinction. Come hear about his latest book and learn about becoming an author.
